WILL INTELLIGENCE AUGMENTATION ULTIMATELY REPLACE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

In the 21st centuary , a lot of technology advancement  took place in this  centuary. Many advance have been made in the field of Artifical Intelligence,which; no doubt; has left the world in awe with the amazing abilities embedded in machines to simulate the human level of congnition.Today, technology is used  in all sectors. It is an important part of everyone life. Technology advancement has had a lot of impact  on the quality of life which made the  life better and simpler. However, it has its adverse effects. The competition  between the different superb powers has changes a lot in technology advancement and lead a lot of technological innovations and inventions. Even all these advances, there have been reservations about a possible takeover by machine,but a feasible solution has arisen,which is the "Intelligence Augmentation".


One of the purposes and ideas behind the technology of Artifical Intelligence is to mimic the human-level of cognition in machines in an unnatural way. It enable machines to perform tasks with the freedom and absent of human assistance.As an example driver-less vehicles, chatbots, fastort automation and so on.

But come to think of this; some reservations have arisen i n relation to automations- one of this is replacement of humans by machines.Foreg: in normal industry(as car assembly plant),  a nng automated, and numerous percentage of work is being automated, which runs on the technology of Artificial intelligence(AI).Due to this automation,it has seen to the fewer physical exertion of human labour,reduced the need of human workers which ultimately increased job losses. But all machines(AI) would  perform humans in almost all tasks.
Machines are fast in terms of computational abilities and viabilities, and can also perform some tasks autonomously,  and there also some areas that would still require human assistance-area like common sense, taking rational decision, even in efficient  relationships; and not advancement in the concept of Full AI.Now, that's the idea of #INTELLIGENCE_AUGMENTATION(IA).

#Migrating_from_AI_to_IA
Intelligence talks about cognition, knowledge and ability to understand  facts and principles where Augmentation is all about supplementation, or making better or larger. So that we can say that Intelligence Augmentation (IA) is the technology that seeks to complement the ability and capacity of humans, but not totally replacing it.It main idea is to combine the  strengths of machines with the strengths of humans in a single system.

Technically, Intelligence Augmentation  is a kind of interaction
of humans with in an intelligent  manner i.e HUMAN-MACHINE-SYMBIOSIS. This is still grouped as emerging technology, but remotely  the idea .This was first mentioned in the 1950s which was actualy the same period of  the idea of AI until this is net enjoyed much popularity.Intelligence Augmentation would ultimately place the control in the hands  of humans again, the machine would only serve in the full capacity to complement our weakness and fight the system that created them.  Together, we shall welcome annother era of machine intelligence, which is the era of INTELLIGENCE AUGMENTATION.




Conclusion
The limitations of human body and capacity have created a need for supplementation.In the form of Artificial Intelligence- but not without the threat of possible replacement of humans by machines which can be summed up as "Intelligence Augmentation".
